About

G'day I'm Jacqui Duncan and I'm a BIG fan of multiple titles -  Actor, Voice-Over Artist, Presenter/Host and Comedian are my favourite ones to throw around.  I'm based between Sydney, Los Angeles and Brisbane, Australia.

On Camera, I'm best known for my work as ‘Eco’, in the Nine Network program, ‘The Shak’ (460 episodes), where not only did I get to play an animal lover but someone who animals loved to bite.  Total bites = 13 (See Above for #9 AKA 'The snake bite').  I've continued to work as an actor in productions such as ‘Underbelly’ (Nine Network), ‘Old School’ (NBCUniversal/ABC Aus) and 'Home and Away' (Seven Network).

Commercially, I have appeared in over 20 commercials, including Aerogard, Footlocker, Bundaberg Rum, Baskin Robbins in Australia and the US Doritos 'Crash the Superbowl' top 3 finalist, 'Swipe for Doritos' (co-starring Doris Roberts).

I've also been working as a professional Voice-Over Artist for the past decade, working in both commercial and animated productions.  Currently you can hear me as the voice of Hootabelle on ABC's 'Giggle and Hoot', as the campaign voice for Big W as well as voicing commercials for BankWest, Amazon Echo, Neutrogena, Event Cinemas and more.

As for comedy, I have been improvising and creating characters since I began training at UCB (The Upright Citizens Brigade) in 2014, where I completed the core program (gaining approval for Advanced Study).  In 2017 I also completed the core program at ITS (Improv Theatre Sydney).  I'm currently a member of improv teams, 'Monster Squad' and 'Danny Provolone' and sketch teams, 'Skinny Dip' and 'Just Giggle It'.  Recently I delved into the world of stand-up, making it to the Semi-finals of the 2018 RAW Comedy Competition.  Check out the news section for upcoming shows!
